How to turn on headlights in an 02 VW Jetta?

I just got an 02 VW Jetta and I can't figure out how to turn the headlights on. The switch only has two options: off or parking lights. Can anyone tell me how to get the headlights on?|||Theyre automatic. They should be on when the parking brake is off. If not you need to get it to a mechanic.
