How reliable are they? Do they get good gas mileage? I am referring to the 2000 and up years. What engines are best? And what should I look into, check before I buy? Is the slow acceleration scary and dangerous when switching from bumper to bumper traffic on a highway to the clear zones to come minutes after? Thank you. I'd love to own the vehicle, but do not want to blow my money on a horrible car either. I've read horrible things about vw new beetles.|||What you should know is they are not worth buying. Find something else that would be safe and reliable.|||It's the worst cornering/handling car I've ever driven.
Pick-up trucks handle better........
