What is the most efficient and cheapest way to tow or transport a vw bus about 350 miles?

My friend and I are trying to buy a vw bus, but the problem is that the one we want is more than 5 hours away. We don't know if it will make the trip or not, so we wanted to know what our options are. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Any advice that gets the job done cheaply (say $100 or less) will be rewarded with 10 points and a cash reward.|||Get a vehicle that you can attach a U-Haul towbar to. A good metal bumper is what you are looking for. A rental towbar can be had for around $35 and is a lot safer than a chain or rope.|||You or your buddy borrows and drives a small 4 cylinder pickup (or anything RWD really) and pulls it with a chain. As long as the bus has brakes and steers, the other person can "drive" it.|||that a truck and put the bus on the truck and drive real slow lol i dont know.. but god loves you|||I guess the cheapest way would be to start pushing. You've got a long way to go so maybe you better get started now, huh?|||I agree with the U Haul towbar hook up it is the safest way and the legal way towing that far with a chain would be dangerious and against the law in most states.. U Haul towbars are under 50 dallors..and sometimes u get half back when u return it..
