What is the diffrence between the VW Bug and the Super Bug?

My girlfriend is buying a 1971 VW BUG and she is asking me what the diffrence is between the Bug and the Super Bug. Is there a body diffrence? Motor diffrence? Or what is it?|||From Wikipedia:

While production of the standard Beetle continued, a Type 1 variant called the Super Beetle, produced from model year 1971 to 1979 (1302s from 1971 to 1972, and 1303s from 1973 onwards), offered MacPherson strut front suspension, better turning radius (despite having a 20 mm (3/4 in) longer wheelbase), and approximately double the usable space in the front luggage compartment, due to the stretched "nose" of the vehicle and relocation of the spare tire from a vertical to a horizontal position. The Super Beetle was improved in 1973 to include a different dashboard shape (the padded dashboard appears on some 1302s models also) and a more aerodynamic curved windshield for more driver visibility.|||The vw super beetle has really ugly tail lights and a rounded front window. If you want a cool looking VW, i'de get the normal one. They have the flat front window and not as bulky tail lights.

|||also some of the SB's had a flat wind shield.|||The Super Beetle was NOT built on the same floorpan as a 914. from the A pillar back the Super and standard are identical.

I've owned 4 SBs.|||body difference... bigger nose on a super, hence the designation 'fat chick'

suspension difference, macpherson struts on front end of super beetle. also, the standard beetle is easier to lower due to the suspension type used.

difference in trunk, spare sits flat under the load floor, on a standard beetle, it sits on an angle.

71 and 72 supers have basically flat windscreens, 73 and newer are more curved.|||Something to add to the above description, The Super Beetle was built on the same floorpan and suspension as the 914-4 Porsche.
