Diagnosis charge on VW passat 2001-How much does it cost?

I need to run a full diagnosis report on the passat, without repairs. I really want to be fair and competitive with my charges for raising the report using VW Scanner.


Any ideas how much is being charged on such a car in other shop?


Thanks.|||If you aren't using the VW computer, you won't get a full report. Of course you need to be certified and capable of getting in to the VW service web site to do it. When I quit, the dealer was charging $95.00 and took about 1 1/2 hours to do. That was a few years back. If you are using a Snap On or other after market unit, I wouldn't charge more than .5 or .75 hours.|||We charge an hour, $95. Auto-scan with Ross tech, 1 print out.
