Diagnosis charge on VW passat 2001-How much does it cost?

I need to do full diagnosis report on the passat, without repairs. I really want to be fair and competitive with my charges for raising the report using VW Scanner.


Any idaes how much is being charged on such a car in other shop?





Thanks.|||Inspecting the complete vehicle for maintenance advice is usually free. There is no need to scan for codes if the car does not have a check engine light on. If you want the to print out a data list on the electrical sensors and solenoids and read the mili-volt readings of the 02 sensors, etc. the charge is one hour labor. If the vehicle has problems with power or stalling I would charge an additional one hour labor for hooking up a fuel pressure gauge and take readings at idle and at 2,500 rpm.
